Gamefunio is a small collection of browser games made by us for children of about 6 to 13. Here is what you can expect when your child plays.

No accounts, no chat, no personal data

  • Children never sign up, log in or type their name, email or age.
  • There is no chat, no messaging and no way to talk to other players.
  • We do not collect personal information from children.

Progress is saved on your device

Each game remembers levels, coins and outfits in your browser's local storage on this device only. It never leaves the device. To remove it, clear the site data for gamefunio.com in your browser settings.

How the advertising works

The games are free because we show advertisements from Google. Because our audience is children, every ad request is marked for child-directed treatment: Google then shows no personalised ads and no remarketing, and it blocks ad categories that are not suitable for children.

  • On our pages, ads are clearly labelled "Advertisements" and kept away from games and game buttons.
  • Inside games, full-screen ads only appear at natural breaks, for example after finishing a level. Never during play.
  • Some games offer an optional bonus for watching an ad, such as double coins. The button is marked "Ad", it is always a free choice and nothing is lost by saying no.
  • Nothing in our games can be bought with real money.

Tips for playing together

  • The games work on computers, tablets and phones. Short levels make it easy to stop at a good moment.
  • Every game has a sound button in the top-right corner.
  • Each game page explains how to play and which buttons to use.
